• Designation: SQA-(Welding/Mechanical) Engineer (From 19th Oct 2015 to Till Date)
• To ensure for a specified commodity the required quality level for all material which is supplied to the manufacturing lines in
the Savli/Baroda site. The main activities include:
• Support Procurement in establishing a high performing Supplier Base for BT by execution of the quality part of the Supplier
Evaluation & Approval Process for specified commodities (SEAP)
• Special Process(Welding) audit and Evolution as per EN 15085,ISO3834-2
• Planning of the Parts Approval Process on a project-by-project basis in close cooperation with the Project QA Manager and
the Project Buyer
• Managing the Parts Approval Process (PAP) with Suppliers for specified commodities including Contract Reviews, Pre-
Manufacturing Reviews, First Article Inspections and First System Installation Inspections
• Assuring appropriate support and qualification of Suppliers in the Pre-Delivery phase by providing coaching & supervision
at the supplier sites in terms of:
- verification & approval of supplier's Welding Qualifications : WPS-PQR,WPQ,Weld and NDE Plans as per EN Std
- verification & approval of supplier's Welding Shop, Welding Machines and Accessories, Weld Consumables etc.
- verification & approval of supplier's product line qualification, incl. jigs, tools & fixtures
- verification & approval of supplier's supply chain
- verification & support of supplier's staff qualification
- ensuring flawless communication between supplier and BT organization
• Assuring a regular Welding/Quality surveillance at Supplier sites during the series delivery phase in order to maintain the
quality level after successful completion of the Parts Approval Process by regular supplier visits and pre-shipment
inspections Manage Corrective Source Inspections to immediately correct quality issues at supplier sites
• Manage supplier performance improvement initiatives for specified commodities in close cooperation with Procurement
• Measure & report quality performance of suppliers for specified commodity
1) Name of the Organization: INOX INDIA LTD, a leading Manufacturer of Cryogenic Pressure Vessels, Piping, Skids,
Vaporizers, Structural, Scientific projects & mechanical sites, ISO systems
Designation: Asst. Manager – Projects QA/QC (From 20th
June2011 to Oct 2015) & RWC (Responsible welding coordinator)
Role:
• Review of Client Specifications and Highlight specific requirements for further plan of Actions.
• Preparation of ITP/QAP as per codes (ASME, DIN, AS, EN, ISO, SAMSS, etc.) and customer specifications.
• Preparation of Wed Map, WPS/PQR, etc.
• Preparation and submission of NDT procedures, PWHT procedures, Inspection and test Procedures etc.
• Interaction with clients for QA/QC activities, KOM, PIM etc.
• Coordination with TPI. Inspection at Vendor’s place.
• Preparation of QA/QC Documents and MDR.
• Which included but not limited to
- Material Identification, Fitting inspections, Weld Visual inspection
- Performance test Witness like Hydro test / pneumatic test/helium leak test / Vacuum retention / Cold shock test / NER
etc.
- Final Dimension & Visual Testing, Painting Inspection
- Packing and delivery conditions Witness
- Random Witness of Welding activities in Workshop before, during and after Welding operations
- Review of PWHT Reports if applicable
• Follow QMS requirements for Inspections, Reviews, Non conformities, CAPA etc.
• Verification of Calibration status of equipment during inspections.
• Inspection of Cryogenic pressure Vessels, Scientific Jobs, Vaporizers, skid piping etc.as per Codes
• Preparation of Fabrication, Quality and NDT Procedures and get is approved from TPI/Client/AI/NDT Level-III

• Inspection of parts for Distribution Transformer like Fabricated, Painted & Powder coated tanks, core frames etc. for ABB
Vadodara (PGCIL, MGVCL, UGVCL, etc.)
• Stage-wise & final inspection of storage tanks (Let down, Finish& Dryer) with Agitators as per ASME codes & technical
Specifications.
• Inspection of square tubes for Nuclear power plant for L & T Powai, Mumbai.
• Expediting for Thermax (for TMT bars at Welspun India Ltd, Anjar & for Magnets at Electromagnetic, Baroda)
• Inspection of Coal handling plant equipments like Wagon Tippler, Side arm charger, Stacker reclaimer for Reliance.
• Inspection of General Mechanical parts like Expansion Bellows, HR/ CR plates, Plate type Heat exchangers, Coils,
Pipe fittings, Castings, Gear Boxes, Gear Drive, Turned and forged components & all other fabricated items.
• Inspection of Electrical Components like L.V. Switches, Control Panels, Conductors, Cables, Geared Motors.
• Inspection of C.S. Spiral pipes (2828 mm X 14 mm) with lining & Gunating.
Inspection stages covered
• Inward material inspection as per drawing/ technical specification / ASME Code, IS standard etc.
• Witnessing of mechanical, chemical, electrical testing, Review of material test certificates
• In process / stage wise Quality checking
