DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible For Stage by Stage inspection of Static & Rotating Equipment as per
approved ITP and ensure compliance of the code requirement.
• Material receiving inspection for Flanges, gasket, Bolt & nut, related fittings as per
drawing & packing list.
• Check the refractory bricks, castables , Ceramic Blankets lining for reformer, Fired
heater, as per drawing before installation,
• Inspect the verticality of Heater Radiant coils, Stack module, convection section, Flue
gas ducts and its coordination.
• Inspection of dimension, tolerance preparation of fit up and alignment according to the
drawing and specified standard documents.
• Inspection Flange face, Gasket, Bolt & Nut as per drawing specified standard
documents.
• Witnessing Bolt torque & Bolt tensioning of Equipments.
• Inspect the ID/FD Fan alignment (dial gauge / Laser alignment) Hot & Cold, tolerance
according to the standard.
• Indentifying and Issuing of Non conformance report when observed during work.
• Establish and review of welding procedure specifications (WPS) and compliance of the
code requirements.
• Monitoring and witnessing of the procedure qualification record (PQR)
