2. Questionnaire Details
On my questionnaire I asked 10 people of varying
genders their thoughts and opinions on my
magazine I would be publishing. I

5. This majority shows to
me that my magazine’s
genre will appeal to
roughly eight in ten
people. This is an
extremely encouraging
figure and shows the
positives of my selected
genre.
6. The majority of £1.99£3.99 clearly shows me
what I should charge.
The fact that roughly a
third of those I asked
were willing to pay more
for a magazine may
suggest the importance
of a price in correlation to
the quality of a magazine.
This makes £3.99 a
suitable a logical price.
7. The overwhelming
majority of people
wishing for it to be
published monthly far
outweighs the singular
person wishing for it to be
published fortnightly, with
nobody wishing for it to
be published weekly.
This clearly shows me
that I should publish my
magazine monthly.
8. This variation in my
results only re-enforces
the true range of subgenres indie rock houses.
It is however appart that
the most popular subgenre is alternative,
followed up by Indie Pop
and Neo-Psychedelia.
With one person not
displaying an interest in
indie rock or it’s subgenres, it’s fair to say that
they are in the minority,
along with the one person
who appreciates metal. A
clear loser is math rock,
with no votes.
9. This clearly shows the
appeal of a free gift in
persuading a customer to
buy a magazine. My only
issue with this is that it
could detract from the
professional and
simplistic nature I wish to
achieve by plastering
“FREE” across my
magazine cover. This is
something I will have to
think about.
