1. What have you learnt about
technologies from the process
of constructing this product?
2. HARDWARE• We used the Panasonic HD
camcorder and a tripod to film
• Camcorder had good video
quality and was easy enough to
use
• Although, when we wanted to
zoom- was not very smooth
• Tripod- Handy equipment, as
kept camera still and created
smooth shots
• However, too small to take
straight shots and keep every
thing in frame
• Handle to tilt and pan stiff
3. SOFTWARE• Tumblr was used to post entries of
planning, research and evaluation
on blog
• The various options along the
header meant I could express and
alter posts in different formats
• Tumblr was very simple and easy to
navigate
• The search bar enabled me to do
complex research into my genre
• Limitation- When some posted was
not in paragraphs, but solved
through adding- <p>
4. SOFTWARE• YouTube was used to do
research into the genre and
post our audience research and
main task
• It was a helpful software to
share videos and research
trailers
• Although, the process of
uploading was lengthy, it was a
simple process
• The quality of the videos
uploaded were excellent
5. SOFTWARE
• We used Premier Pro to
edit the sequence
• We learned how to use the
software in the
preliminary, therefore we
had a good understanding
• Had many different effect
options to make film look
professional
• A problem was the video
wouldn’t fit in the frame
• Although we overcame
this by using ‘scale media
to frame’
6. WHAT HAVE I LEARNT OVERALL?
• To use a camera paired with a tripod in order to get good quality professional shots
• How to navigate premier pro and edit successfully
• How to upload a video to YouTube in high quality and with feature sound
• How to create a detailed blog in Tumblr and add photos/videos
