Insurers' journeys to build a mastery in the IoT usage
Q6 what have you learnt about technologies...
1. Q6 - What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
constructing the product?
2. • I have learnt how to use final cut pro x which I found difficult to
learn how to use, but when I did figure it out, I found editing
quite easy.
• I had a few technical difficulties with lighting in the
interrogation scene where the sun was shining through the top
window. At the time of filming it looked as if it complimented
the scene, but when it came to reviewing the footage on the
Apple Mac it was very bright
and blocked out a lot of the
footage.
• We were unable to use
some of what I had filmed but
as I had made sure I filmed more
footage than I needed to make sure I had enough spare footage to
use if I needed it.

4. • The software we used
was:
• Live type
• Final cut pro x
• Adobe after effects
• The hardware we used
was:
• An apple mac
• A video camera
• A phone
5. • If I were to do this again I would change our logo as I
still think it’s too metallic and would also use a better
camera so that the picture would come out better.
• Other than that, I’m very pleased with the outcome of
our work and wouldn’t change it much.
