CMS has partnered with Atomic Learning to provide technology training resources and tutorials to teachers, students, and parents. Atomic Learning includes nearly 50,000 tutorials covering common software applications and emerging technology topics. Both parents and students can access Atomic Learning using provided usernames and passwords. Users are encouraged to search tutorials or browse by application to learn how to use various technologies. Contact information is provided for anyone with questions about accessing Atomic Learning.

9. On the Tutorials tab, you can click the drop down box
beside Applications. You will see that there are
numerous application tutorials available.

Tutorials are
This is the home screen. Click Log In and enter the Username and password.
Once you are logged in, there are several options for studying. If you click on Find an Answer to a Tech question, you can enter a keyword or question. For example, if you can’t remember how to insert a hyperlink, type hyperlink and AL will search for this term in all of its tutorials. There are also 3 tabs. The first is Workshops which will give you a study path for a particular topic. For example, you may want to learn how to blog or your student may need to learn how to avoid plagiarism. The second tab is for Projects. This tab is more applicable to teachers creating projects for their classes. The third tab is for Tutorials. (see next slide)
Notes to presenter will appear in italics, all other text can be used as a guided script for your presentation.
