Station 1-Heart

Songs-
 The most beautiful girl in the world- Prince
 Missing- Todd Terry
 All she wants- Ace of base
This shows that the radio station is aimed more at people middle aged (25-45) who are
starting to have children. This is because it is playing songs more associated with people that
age and it is also advertising family cars.
Station 2- ForestFM
Advertisement-
 The Video club- For businesses.
 KNB instillations with address.
 Solly Tree- connected to the local council
Music-
 Treat you better- Shaun Mendes
 Simple song- Passenger
The target audience for the radio station would be people within the workplace and adults
due to the majority of the adverts being aimed at people who require something to do with
business. Furthermore, they would be people within the local area as all the advertisement
have relations to the surrounding area and are based around east Dorset.
Station 3- BBC Radio 2
Advertisement-
No adverts
Songs-
 She’s a Lady- Tom Jones
 Pure Shore- All saints
This I aimed at people a similar age to Heart which is seen by the songs that were being
played.
BBC radio 5 live filmreviews:
This is different to radio as it is more like a conversation with the audience rather than not
feeling involved with the people talking. Also there is an interview in this which are not
normally used on radio but sometimes can be seen. There is not music which means the
presenters have to keep the audience interested by talking.
I think this is more aimed at a younger audience who enjoy films. This is because it is more
conversational which will keep a younger audience interested as they would be more likely
to like the action films they are talking about meaning they would enjoy listening to the
review.
