The scriptwriter conducted a SWOT analysis of their script. Strengths included producing a decent quality script suited for their target genre and incorporating client feedback. Weaknesses were the script may only appeal to the target audience and the ending could be seen as sudden. Opportunities included potential for a prequel if popular and learning from the experience. • I managed to produce a decent quality script that will help
me to film my film.
• My script suits the genre that I am aiming for.
• I used client feedback in order to help improve the script to
ensure it is a good quality.

3. WEAKNESSES
• The content in the script will only really appeal to the
target audience and might not be liked by others.
• The ending of my script could be seen as a bit sudden
which might not please some people.
• I could have planned my ideas out in greater detail before
script writing.

4. OPPORTUNITIES
• There is scope for a prequel for this film if it is popular and
gives the message that I want it to.
• This will also help me in future if I ever write another script
as I now have learnt more about the process and feel like I
could make an even better one next time.

5. THREATS
• I have to be careful with the music that I use as I don’t
want it to get copyrighted because that would be bad
for my film.
• This process was very time consuming which made it
difficult to complete.
