5. SPECIFIC FEATURES of COMPANIES ACT - 2013
CSR Act apply to all companies that have either of the following in any
financial year -
Net worth of INR 500 crores or more
Turnover of INR 1,000 crores or more
Net profit of INR 5 crores or more

 Fund allocated 110 CR.
 Plans to build 5000 toilets with the tag line ‘Sanitation for all- Toilets First‘
 Integrated Community Development Project for rural communities in
Maharashtra.
 Power to the People.
 Project ‘SANKALP’ :- RECYCLING PAPER.
SUGGESTION TO L&T
 L&T should spend at least 2% of its profit in CSR.
 To promote sustainability in partnership with industry associations in order to have a multiplier
impact.
 They must constantly monitor and listen to the needs of the communities.
 L&T should motivated other companies by spending its fund in the CSR activities
