Reliance Retail Ltd. is a subsidiary
company of Reliance Industries.
Founded in 2006 and based in Mumbai, it
is the largest retailer in India in terms of
revenue. Its retail outlets offer foods,
groceries, apparel and footwear, lifestyle
and home improvement products,
electronic goods, and farm implements
and inputs.

vegetables, fruits and flowers. It
focuses on consumer goods,
consumer durables, travel services,
energy, entertainment and leisure,
and health and well-being products,
as well as on educational products
and services.
It has a total of 3,383 stores as of
June 2016 in India with an area of
over 13 million square feet across
210 cities.
4. OBJECTIVES
Human resource management in reliance retail
provides favorable environment for employees
so that people working in organization can
work creatively. This ultimately helps them to
develop their creative knowledge, ability and
skill.
They try to bridge the gap between individual
goal and organizational goal.
They provide a series of facilities and
opportunities to employees for their career
development. This leads to job satisfaction and
commitment.
5. METHODOLOGY
It is done through Likert scale.
• Research is meant for measuring work culture
of the organization, Likert’s scale is opted
because the employees are asked about the
certain statements about their working
environment and are asked whether they
agree/disagree from the stated questions.
• Employees are asked about different aspects of
the company and its working environment so
they could give their feedback about those
aspects.
6. If the employees agree upon the given
statement they will choose 4(agree) and
5(strongly agree).
If they do not agree than they’ll choose
1(strongly disagree) or 2(disagree).
And if they’re not sure about their
statement, they choose 3(neither agree
nor disagree).

Recruitment and Selection is just not a process
of finding a candidate for a job specified, but it
is finding a right person for the right job at the
given time.
Working in a corporate sector is all about
having a fierce of doing your work with
enthusiasm and zeal.

the E- RECRUITMENT. Also known
as ONLINE RECRUITMENT, it is the
use of technology or the web based
tools to assist the recruitment
processes.
