In this presentation I have shared my point of view how I envision the city of the future where highest importance is given to the human race.

future?

2. Just a thought…
At the end everything boils down to “Happiness ” right? And the biggest happiness we can get, is
from people whom we love and not the from any material or activity. What’s the use if you buy
anything or do any activity but have no one to share that feeling of having that thing or doing that
particular activity. People love sharing what they love, people like being appreciated for doing what
they love. So the most important thing on this planet are the people. If you yourself and the people
around you are happy, your life is happy. Thus fulfilling the biggest purpose of your existence which is
Happiness and nothing else.
So the simplest way to make any place happy or happier is to make people of that place happy. No
one can be perfect in this world, not even the god. In life something you will achieve and something
you wont but that doesn't mean your life is incomplete. Purpose of this is to say that if you are happy
in your life it doesn't matter if some of your life goals are not completed.
So I envision a city of the future “where the people of the city are happy…”

3. Simply concentrate about 3 major things humans care about and 3 majors things
humans are scared about
Humans care most about their:
 Relationships
 Health
 Work
Humans are scared most about:
 Terrorism
 Natural disasters/Emergencies
 Poverty

4. Relationships
Relationships are human to human and human to nature and vice and vice a versa.
 To enrich human to human relationships I envision a city with great leaders and great thinkers as
people tend a get inspired from their leaders and great thinkers. Where these leaders and thinkers
have a common vision for the city and great unity among each other.
 Good mannerism, culture, tradition, and above all religion of Humanity is important to strengthen
the relationships of human to human. For this we need great educational institutions, political
leaders and spiritual gurus to influence people to do good.
 I envision a city where religion of Humanity is all above all religion or in fact there is only one
religion and nothing else as different religions has created problems among people of this planet.
 Humanity is all about caring for people and this belief among the people of the city will bring unity,
brotherhood and collaborative approach amongst them.

5. Role of Education in Relationships
 To have great thinkers or greater politicians with strong leadership
skills, requires strong educational institutes with great value system.
 Education is the foundation of human growth, we think, we behave, we
act in a way that we have learnt. So education helps to build positive
and ethical minds in the society which helps the city to prosper.
 Educational institutes helps to create doctors, engineers, lawyers,
scientists, artists, bankers, accountants, architects, managers etc as
these are the people who run the society and the economy of the place
they live in.

6. Relationship of Human to Nature
Greenery, Trees, Plants, Rivers, Lakes etc are extremely necessary to maintain the ecological balance. And now a days due to
industrial development, infrastructure development, technological development etc we are loosing these important elements of
nature.
So I envision a city where following activities are carried out
Water Conservation Waste Management Plant Trees Use of Cycle
 And a city who constantly updates it self with the new technology or new ways to prevent any kind of pollution emitted
from the Industries.

7. “Health is the biggest wealth a man can get” is the saying we have heard. And it is the truth we have accepted but don’t do much
much about it. So I envision a city where
Measures are taken for
the cleaner air
Adequate hospitals as per
the population
Fitness and Yoga centres
are promoted
Medical centres to research
new medical development
Promote Organic
products
 Promote actives such as Marathon, Seminars on Healthy lifestyle, and
health insurance at affordable premium.

8.  Promote Entrepreneurship
It is a major source for self
employment so that it helps to
strength the economy.
 Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)
Bring foreign companies or
countries to invest in our city to
strength the economy.
 Trade Policies
- Formulating polices which promotes ease of doing business and also inviting big companies to open offices as to provide
employment to the people.
- Build a policy so the employer do not exploit employees and maintain the slab of minimum salary paid and limit of
maximum working hours.
 Transportation
Transportation helps business to grow faster. So construction of roads, highways, ports,
airports, railways as it helps to move around faster for the people and helps in the logistics of
the business.

9.  Strong Judicial system: A city with strong judicial is required so as to give justice to everyone. Because only injustice gives
birth to terrorism.
 CCTV & scanners: CCTV and scanners needs to be installed everywhere so as to keep check on any illegal activity taking
place in the city. It can be a great source to track and immediately take action against the culprit.
 Smart apps: Today we use apps for every single activity so why not a make an app for a city where anyone can inform the
security force about wrong things happening in their surrounding. So that patrol officers can take immediate take action
against it.
 Promote security forces: Promote people to join city security force by giving them different additional perquisites and
strengthen the security of the city in terns of quantity and quality.
 Strong law enforcement: There should be a strong enforcement of law and action to be taken against anyone who is
alleging into terrorist activities. This will create fear in the people who are its promoters.

10. Natural Calamities/Emergencies
Floods: Set up a committee which constantly keeps a track on weather changes and predicts if any
situation that leads to flood. Increase spending on flood defences and introducing better flood warning
systems.
Drought: Promoting the agenda of planting more and more trees is the most effective idea to prevent from
drought conditions. Rain water harvesting is another effective method to store rain water so that we can use
that stored water in case of emergencies like drought or shortage of water. I envision a city where there are
well constructed dams so as to maintain proper flow of water to the city.
Earthquakes: Building homes that are earthquake resilient so as to lessen the damage caused to the
infrastructure of the city and encourage people to participate in disaster training so that they can take
necessary action and also prevention methods to save themselves and people around them from any
damage.
Emergency team: Building a team for emergencies such as a place that has caught fire , tackle cyclones,
prevention of any contagious diseases which is rapidly spreading in the city etc.

11. Poverty
Create jobs: Creating job enough opportunities of everyone is the best way to prevent poverty from the city. So I
envision a city where people have enough opportunities for employment or event start their own business so that they
can earn a living.
Raise minimum wages: A minimum wage policy is very effective as people can earn enough money to survive in a city
as per its living expenses.
Tax benefit: A city with a tax policy where people lying on poverty line has no tax to pay and also gets benefits in the
various indirect taxes livid by the government.
Free health insurance: Free health insurance should be given to the people lying on the poverty line and also provide
medicines at cheaper rates.
Lower interest rates: I envision a city where people lying on or under poverty line get any loan such as a loan to start
their own small business or to educate their children or to build their own house at much cheaper rates.
Special stores: Special stores should be open under strong monitoring to the poor people where they can get basic
necessities such as grocery, electronics, clothing etc at special discounted rates.
