Innovior working model shows one way to build upon technology
innovations and modern knowledge for rural community generating employment
and removing poverty
What we do ... & How we do…
Our process is easy
Create
community

innovators
Build partnerships
between formal
and informal
science
Invest in ideas as
part of an
inverted model of
innovation
Many governments spend more resources fighting their own people often considered to be rebels or
extremists than on investing in the ideas and imagination of local communities and individuals.
Our process is easy
Encourage the
growth of
micro-venture
finance
Expand the public pool
of innovations by
providing financial
incentives to
innovators
Recognize,
respect, and
reward innovators
where they
live.
Instead of treating economically poor people as a sink of public aid, assistance, advice, and corporate goods and services,
we treat them as a source of ideas, innovations, and institutional arrangements with which formal public and private
institutions can engage.
Inclusive development
Innovior has a comprehensive development approach. Its prime objective is to
create and support meaningful technology with innovative institutions to address
some of India’s most pressing developmental challenges.
We believe that innovative technology with appropriate business model will
transform our important social systems including agriculture, health care, and
renewable power.
Our approach to innovate

Tapping the Entrepreneurial Potential of Rural Innovation
Unless we build on the resources in which poor people are rich, the development process will not
be dignified and a mutually respectful and learning culture will not be reinforced in society.
Innovation for Social & Economical Growth
Learning from the minds on the margin:
Towards a new social contract for responsible technology
Models of Innovations
Technology Innovation begins with a bright technical idea. At Innovior, we believe that to
emerge as a strong player in the rural market, identifying gaps and crafting the right
product for the end user is essential. We support and bring forth the technology
innovations that have the capacities to change tomorrow’s Rural India.
We supports and engages in innovative new ventures or with individuals to operate in
the organised economy to get higher returns from operating in the official economy (e.g.
by partnering with financial institutions and co-operating with established firms).
Our technical innovation through its investment in R&D and all its associated elements,
including partnerships with universities, research organisations and small to medium
enterprises (SMEs) has been designed to reduce costs and optimize operations, to
deliver leading edge functionality.
micro-level economic growth- through solar water ATM
Innovior is well positioned to contribute to
water security for rural people through
tools and approaches based on balancing
the benefits, costs and risks in meeting
rural livelihood needs.
We have developed innovative business
models combining new technologies and
market development strategies that helps
individuals to adopt a new practice (e.g.
using water purifier or purchasing safe
drinking water from Solar water ATM
new practices and procedures to ensure that quality and affordable healthcare
reaches the deprived corners of the Indian villages
We help in providing affordable healthcare
solutions by reducing the cost of service
delivery through innovative operating
models for people living in remote villages.
Our team has developed concept of “Rural
Health Clinic” and is implementing in
various parts of India, thereby making
health service accessible and scalable.
Economic Empowerment of Women through solar rural electrification and Skill
development project” in power starved hilly, backward tribal villages in Nagaland
The project has created a strong social and economic
capital of organized communities. This has not only have
implications for stronger service delivery but also lead to
comprehensive community organizations, which are
essential for the development of a just and equitable
society. It is expected that 5,000 female has been
uplifted socially. Direct employment or self employment
of female will result due to interventions relating to
establishment and strengthening of existing skilled
businesses of producers through skills enhancement,
product quality development and higher prices as a
result of linkages with markets in big cities
