2. Process
I used the pencil tool to
draw out the car design I
needed for my interactive
game. I used an image from
google and accurately draw
out the 8 bit image as my
base player or driver.
3. Process
Next I used some images of
mountain roads as a base
while I used the pencil tool
to draw out the accurate
track for your car to drive on
as well as giving the game a
good starting point.
4. Process
Following from the pervious slide I
continued my base in to that of a
curve for the car to drift around,
while also giving it some landscape
of trees and a small river to give
the impression that you start at a
very high place.
5. Process
After I drew out the
backgrounds I then drew out
some hazards along the road
to simulate obstacles that
you would need to avoid In
order to stay on track. Thank
to some images on google for
the bases of the barrier and
the cones I could draw them
out and copy one of the
cones in order to get all the
hazards I needed.
6. Process
My next step was to make
some traffic lights to
simulate when the player
could start the race off.
Again thanks to google I had
a base to sketch out each
one of those light from red,
yellow to green thanks to
the pencil and paint bucket
tools.
7. Process
Next I copied one of the
backgrounds but made small
medication just at end of the
curve, I remove the road
hazards and coloured the
bottom of the mountain to
make it look like the car
crashed at the bottom with
the broken road hazards next
to the damaged car.
8. Process
Lastly I created two game
over screens to make it look
like the player must try again,
the two I created are given
an effect to make it look like
the sign is flashing. I
originally was going to make
the game longer but because
of time constraints and
personal matters I had to
limit myself to game over
screen instead.
