Supervise a team of 9 Tier 2 systems engineers for the Drug Enforcement Administration serving as the
primary escalation point for 80 field technicians stationed around the globe. We support over 400 servers
at more than 100 sites with over 20,000 workstations. We manage domain controllers, file servers, DHCP,
DNS, print, backup, application servers, and cluster servers. I function as the primary point of contact
between the team, operation groups, and other DEA SI components. As supervisor of my team, I am
responsible for training and developing new team members, conducting interviews, and drafting SOPs. I
manage day-to-day operations and delegate work load via Microsoft System Center Server Manager
ticketing system. Finally, I am also a fully-functional systems administrator and work a full load of incident
tickets and service requests received by phone, email, or internal alert. Typical support duties and
proficiencies include:
● Monitor network and server health and coordinate with DEA NOC on outages.
● Manage DEA user account creations, deletions, and transfers.
● Coordinate between global field sites, vendors, and equipment depot for the shipment of
hardware parts. Provide on-demand guidance for field technicians conducting part, driver, and
firmware installation.
● Advise and assist field technicians functioning in an enterprise environment.

○ Maintain baseline file permissions, user rights, and security protocols for DEA electronic
content
○ Distribution and installation of DEA-approved software
○ Troubleshooting group policy
○ Troubleshooting functionality of external web pages on the closed network to determine
required compatibility settings, SSL/TLS settings, and identifying Javascript calls
○ Providing support and troubleshooting issues with two-factor authentication through PIV
Smart Cards and RSA tokens.
● Perform configuration management (CM) checks on new server deployments from Engineering
before Operations takes ownership.
● Provide operational input on new initiative project meetings to determine system requirements.
Assist in developing and testing new systems. Assist in building new systems in the production
environment.
● Manage DEA-issued Android and iOS smartphones through AirWatch and provide support to the
end user for enrollment and troubleshooting issues with AirWatch Agent, Inbox, Contacts,
Calendars, Content Locker, and Browser. Create and manage end user accounts in AirWatch
console.
2. ● Manage DEA-issued Blackberry smartphones in Blackberry 5 and Blackberry 10 environments.
Create and manage end user accounts. Assist end users in troubleshooting issues with the
devices.
● Support DEA divisions with deployment and tech refresh of Android, iOS, and Blackberry
smartphones.
● Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop
offerings.
● Build and maintain virtual servers with VMware and Hyper-V hypervisors.
● Manage user and shared mailboxes with Exchange Management Console.
● Work on special projects as requested to support Tier 3 efforts.
● Provide on-demand support to troubleshoot major emergency outages and to support high-
priority VIP requests.
● Provide deskside support for Sterling office.
● Configure group policy settings and create security or WMI filters.
