2. Garments Quality and Testing
Quality: Garments quality means to satisfy the
demand of customers.
Testing: Garment testing is a method or task of an
industry to ensure the quality of the garment by
performing various test.

3. Garments Quality Lab
Garments quality lab is where the textile testing is
carried out in order to ensure the quality of the
quality of the garments.

• Color shading
• Colorfastness check
• Burn test (for 100% cotton garment)
• Size fitting test
• Adhesive check (logos, printings, markings fastness)
• Fabric weight test (for knitted garments)
• Fasteners fatigue and zip quality test
• Waterproof test
• Ventilation test etc.

department.

7. Importance
The primary purpose of textile testing and analysis is to
assess textile product performance and to use test results to
make predictions about product performance. In order to
meet the public demands, we need to make sure of the
quality of the garments through various testing which is
done in this lab.
