An extremely self motivated and hard working training professional with extensive
experience in management, customer service and developing teams . Excellent

EXPERIENCE
I am currently working as an Area Manager in retail with High Noon stores since
leaving the Co-Operative group.
Training Manager Wales/ Borders Co-operative Group 2011- August 2014
(redundancy due to business restructure)
A company restructure gave me an opportunity to join the newly formed training
team. My role involved:
• Ensuring my team delivered consistent, high standard training across the
retail estate.
• Developing my team to deliver business objectives and coach retail
employees to deliver fantastic customer service.
• Monitor the effectiveness of training delivered in store and re assess the
approach and material.
• Develop leadership programmes for store management grades and assess
effectiveness.
• Develop succession plan and leadership training required for both key talent
and under performers.
• Work with Regional Managers to deliver packages required in stores.
• Develop and deliver behavioural competency workshops linking into personal
development plans.
• Evaluating all training delivered by feedback, visual changes and MI data.
• Experienced in performance managing and developing training needs
analysis.
• Developed workshops for Post Offices across the estate.
• Supported training for new Avonmouth distribution centre taking all depot
managers through leadership development.
• Headed up national project with new concept stores, setting up new team and
building their skill set to deliver.
• Engage with stakeholders to discuss training packages
• Ensure all training deadlines met.
• Ensure training matrix held for each employee recording up to date skills and
skill gaps.
I also have covered an Area manager role in the group responsible for multi million
pound budgets, increasing sales and controlling leakage and waste.
Prior to joining the Co-Operative I worked for Post Office Ltd in various management
roles giving me hands on experience of management, leadership, business and
customer service.

7 O Levels including Maths and English
1 GCSE: Science.
