whichI have beenfeatured,fromonline websitesIwouldwanttolookat all the specificfactors,
whichcome across to all people whohave beenbulliedyoungandoldpeople.Andhow theysuffer
withitand what effectsithasand how people reactandrespondtoit.

I wouldideallyliketotalkquite afewpeople inordertoget responsesthatare differentsothatI
have a varietyof informationandfeedbacktohelpme developmycampaignsothatitsgood and
everythingthatissaidonit istrue information.
What methodswill you use?
The methodsthat I will use inordertogain informationwill be surveysbecausenoteveryone
wantsto talkabout bullyingandthroughsurveysitcanbe done anonymously,Icouldalsotryand
do 1-1s withpeople if theydon’tmindtalkingaboutit.
Couldthere be issuesin gettingaccess to people affectedbyyour chosensocial issue?
I don’tthinkthere will be anissue gettingaccesstopeople whohave beenaffectedbybullying
because bullyingisacommonthingand has happenedandishappeningtosomanypeople,soI
thinkif I ask a fewpeople theymayhave alittle bittotalkaboutbut whetherornot theywantto
openup andtalk aboutit wouldbe a differentissue.

I am goingto be talkingaboutbullyingandIwill needtobe sensitive becausebullyingisanawful
thingand some people don’t like toadmitthatthere are beenbulliedthereforIwill have tomaybe
make anonymouscommentsinmyworkand notask for anyone’snamesoraddressetc.
Couldyou face any problemswhen trying to research social action issues?Ifso, is there a way to
overcome these?
The problemsthatI couldface while tryingtoresearchsocial actionissuesforbullying,isthat
some people findithardtotalk abouttheirpastwithbullyingthereforI’mgoingtostruggle tofind
information,Iwill probablyhave tofindinformationwhichisanonymous.

I would expectmyfinishedpiecestobe displayedanddistributedwithin school buildings,youth
clubsand doctor’ssurgeriesanddentists.

Fundingissuesmaybe thatno one reallywantstopay to stopor helpbullyingbecausethere are
more issuesforexample todowiththe governmentandthingswhichare biggerissuesthat
actually needtostopwhereasbullyingisjust people’s actionstowardseachotherandcan’treally
have fundinginorderto helpit.

Making sure that everyone isinvolvedandhappytotake part inthis,and alsoI’mgoingto need
people tobe honestandanswertruthfullywithoutoffendinganyonebecause bullyingisabig issue
that manypeople don’twanttoadmitto or be honestbecause of embarrassmentandhow muchit
upsetsthem, especially youngerpeoplewhoitactuallyhappenstothe mostespeciallyinschools
but these are ethical issuesIwill have tobe aware andbe careful of.

Personal issuescouldaffectmyresearchbecause bullyingisn’tsomethingmanypeople wantto
talkabout or evenadmittobeena victimof it or evenhavingbulliedsomeone.

The communityandcharacteristicsandtheirresourcesaffectmyresearchbecause someonemay
alreadybe tryingto helpbullyingtherefornoone wouldwanttolistentome and couldaffectmy
researchif otherpeople are tryingtogather the same information.
