• Tyrant was the member of ruling aristocracy (Highest class).
• He often rose power because of the military ability.
• He pleased the his commercial and industrial supporters.
• They responded with a program of public works (Improvement of drainage,
water supply, marketplace etc)
7. The End of the Tyrants
• By the end of 6th century B.C.E, tyranny had disappeared.
• Why tyranny ended?
• because of the new connection of justice community, and the natural
aristocratic of monarchy all made tyranny seem alien and offensive.
