4. GLORIOUS REVOLUTION
• There have been many Revolts that occurred for power in the world, in
which many people have lost their blood, but the Glorious Revolution was a
revolt in which not a single life was lost. That's the reason it is called a blood-
less Revolution as well.
• If the Glorious Revolution is to be described briefly, then it will be described
in such a way that the Glorious Revolution was a revolution in which all the
powers were given to the Parliament, and the Monarch was made the titular
head of the state.

Parliament was formally dissolved, and James attempted to appoint a new parliament that would support him
unconditionally.
• 1688 – James’2nd wife gave birth to a boy (James Francis Edward Stewart) _ King declare to raise his son as a
catholic __ Line of Succession Changed, and fear of an imminent Catholic Dynasty in England began to emerge. __
