  1. 1. !e Revolutions Revolution is like fighting against powers greater than you to get what you want.
  2. 2. Magna Ca"a• It was written for Great Britain.• It was written in 1215.• The monarchies lost almost all there power because of it.• It restricted the King and Queens power.
  3. 3. Glo#$s Revolution• It took place in the British Isles.• William III Became King of Great Britain.• The Document that changed the power of Kings forever were the English Bill of Rights.
  4. 4. !e Engl%h Bill of Rights• It was written in 1689.• It gave power to the Monarchs. It kept them from taxing everyone all the time.
  5. 5. !e Enlightenment• They believed that human reason could be used to combat ignorance, superstition, and tyranny and to build a better world. Their principal that was targeted were religion and the domination of society by a hereditary aristocracy.• It happened in the 18th century.• It was important because people were better understanding stuff.
  6. 6. Charles-L$% Montesquieu• He was from France.• He was most famous for the theory of Separation of Power.
  7. 7. John Locke• He was from England.• He lived 29 August 1632 – 28 October 1704• The natural rights is that everyone is to be treated equally.
  8. 8. Jean Jacques R$sseau• He was born in Geneva.• (28 June 1712  – 2 July 1778)• The Social Contract implied that the concept of a Christian Republic was paradoxical since Christianity taught submission rather than participation in public affairs.
  9. 9. !omas Jefferson• He was from Shadwell,Virginia.• He was most famous for being the author of The Declaration of Independence.• Everybody has a pursuit for happiness.
