INTRODUCTION
Multisensory approach is simply called VAKT ( Auditory, Visual, Kinesthetic
and Tactile) implies that the students learn better when the instruction is given
by the using all modalities .
Increases the learner participation
Improves the capacity of learning
Meaning of Learning
• Learning is the process of gaining knowledge or skill by studying, practicing,
being taught or experiencing something.
• Learning is the act or experience of one that learns knowledge by
instruction
Meaning of Experience
• Experience is the direct observation of events as a basis of knowledge.
• Experience is the practical knowledge, skill derived from direct observation
in a particular activity.
Relationship between Learning and
Experience
• Experiences result learning
• Learning always involves some kind of experiences
• Learning is organizing experiences
• Learning is an enrichment of experiences
• Experiences is a modification of behavior of learning
• All experiences of doing, seeing, tasting…… results learning
CONCLUSION
Multi-sensory approaches teach reading and writing through using Auditory,
Visual and Kinesthetic pathways. Multi-sensory teaching is effective for all
students. It improves the capacity of learning and makes class room active.
