   Character Functionality – What can the
    character do (move, shoot)
   Character Design – what will your character
    look like?
   Level Design - Map out what your level looks
    like.
   There are many different genres
    FPS – First Person   Racing      Sport
    shooter

    RPG – Role Playing   Action      Shooting
    Game

    Platform             Adventure   Music

    Beat ’em’ up         Puzzle      Sneak ‘em’ up


   Of the above genres the bolded ones can be
    made from above view.
   What is the overall story of the game (e.g.
    collecting coins)
   Is there a background to your characters
   What is the aim of each level
   What is the overall game objective.
   What can your character do?
   How can they move? (e.g. left and right)
   Can your character shoot?
   Does your character animate?

                  Any other ideas?
   What will your character and all your sprites
    look like.
   Draw your characters, walls, objects,
    enemies. Anything that you will use in your
    game to make it better.
   For this you will design what each of your 3
    levels will look like. Below is an example of
    this.
