Ice Life Fighting in the National Hockey League(NHL) has been an ongoing brutal way of
getting fans excited. The past years the number of fights have dropped, with only 344 fights last
season, the fewest number within the past 15 years (Adam Vingan). For those people who oppose
fighting this comes as good news, as this area of the Hockey has been investigated heavily. In
1922, rule 56 was introduced into the National Hockey League which was supposed to regulate the
fighting in the NHL and was called the official NHL rulebook(Wikipedia). Still today we have
fighting in the National Hockey league even with rule 56 strictly enforced. It s not just the

Finding a norm to break was pretty hard, but once I did I realized the norm itself was also a little
strange. People ride the elevator because they wish to get to their destination in the building
quicker than they would walking up and down the stairs. At Berkeley City College there are
only five floors; riding the elevator is not an absolutely necessary thing. My school is a pretty
diverse campus, although I rarely see the diverse people in the same classes I choose for myself.
I see people of all age ranges on a daily basis, some friendlier than others. I decided to do this
violation throughout the school week(s) at BCC since I couldn t test this theory out at Laney
College. I chose to test how would people react to me riding the elevator incorrectly or if they
would have a reaction at all; doing so I would compare this act to W.E.B Du Bois s theory of

interpretations. The read is very deep and informative on what is actually written in the Song of
Songs. He gives many insights into the book in the Bible, many that relate to believers now and
some that I touched my life. There are many sections of the book Song of Songs ranging from,
The Initial Pursuit and Satisfaction, to The Groaning of the Flesh and so on. Each of the
sections cover certain verses from the Biblical text and include subsections on the interpretation
of verses. The part of the book that touched me the most was in section two, on The Call for
Deliverance from the Self, specifically, Failure and Recovery. This section speaks of how the
beloved wants to dwell with her lover in his presence, living with the him and his benefits, but not
wanting to change her ways to be closer to him. As Watchman Nee says, in other words, she is
