  2. The most prevalent and commonly use digital preservation model. Note that this is just a framework – it doesn’t cover the nitty-gritty of what to do. The key things to note are It’s probably how you work already (people give you stuff, you process it, manage it in the archive and give others access) The terminology is off-putting (Ingest, Submission/Archival/Dissemination Information package) but is common in DP literature so useful to know Notion of ‘information package’ is just that objects don’t standalone – they have metadata, user guides, checksums etc
