This document discusses three-dimensional shapes. It defines 3D shapes as having height, width and depth. The basic properties of 3D shapes are faces, vertices and edges. Several famous 3D shapes are described including cones, cylinders, spheres, pyramids and cubes. Shapes are divided into polyhedra, which have flat faces, and non-polyhedra, which have curved faces. Polyhedra can be regular, with all faces as regular polygons, or irregular. Examples of polyhedra in nature are also given.
