The excretory system removes waste from the body through various organs. It is made up of the kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, urethra, skin, renal vein, vena cava, adrenal glands, renal artery, and urethral sphincter. The kidneys filter waste from the bloodstream, which then passes through the ureters to the bladder. The bladder stores urine, which then leaves the body through the urethra. Sweat and the skin also help remove waste.
