Pine Tree High School in Texas conducted a technology assessment using the state's Campus STaR Chart system from 2006 to 2009. The school scored well in infrastructure for technology, leadership and instructional support, and teaching and learning. However, the one weak area was educator preparation and development, which was rated as "developing". While Pine Tree met most of the state's long-term technology goals, improving professional development for staff was identified as needing further work.
