The Texas Star Chart is a survey designed to help teachers, campuses, and districts gauge their progress in integrating technology into the classroom based on the state's Long Range Plan for Technology. It assesses progress in four key areas - Teaching and Learning, Educator Preparation, Administration & Support, and Infrastructure - at four levels from Early Technology to Target Technology. For the 2008-2009 school year, Bastrop High School's results showed it was at the Developing Technology level for all four areas according to its Texas Star Chart summary. More information about a campus's Star Chart can be found online at http://starchart.esc12.net/.
