The Texas Teacher STaR Chart is a tool used by teachers, campuses, and districts to evaluate their progress in meeting technology goals. It assesses four key areas: Teaching and Learning, Educator Preparation and Development, Leadership/Administration/Instructional Support, and Infrastructure for Technology. Fletcher Elementary, a Pre-K through 5th grade campus with Exemplary and Blue Ribbon status, has seen its STaR Chart scores decrease slightly each year from 2008-2009 to 2010-2011 across the four areas, though it has maintained advanced technology. The school needs to better utilize its technology resources on a daily basis to maintain its advanced standing and increase future scores.
