The Texas STaR Chart is a tool used by schools and districts to assess technology integration and plan for technology needs. It evaluates four key areas: teaching and learning, educator preparation, leadership and support, and infrastructure. Watauga Elementary's STaR Chart results show they are making progress but need to focus on improving scores in teaching and learning as well as technology infrastructure. The STaR Chart is meant to help schools determine strengths, weaknesses, and how to better meet students' needs for a 21st century education through enhanced technology use.
