1. Question Two - How does your media product represent particular social groups?
The pink colours would appeal to my
target audience of young females and
convey the innocent, girly side that they
have.
The colloquial language such as
‘awesome’ and ‘amazeball’ would
appeal to my target audience and
represent the fun, jokey side to them.
The main image is of a female of a similar age to
my target audience which may make them want
to read it as they would feel that they can relate
to the person in the article which may make
them want to read it. also, the girl in the image
looks nice and happy which would go against
the stereo-type that all youth are out to cause
trouble.
2. The colour scheme of orange white
and black, although sinmple,
represents yourng girls becuase
orange is a fuin, bright colour and
would appeal to them. The fact that
the colour scheme is so minimilistic
and simple which makes it more
visually pleasing for the reader

P!nk and Taylor Swift represent my
target audience because this is the
type of music that they enjoy
listening to and so this would appeal
to them and make them want to
read the magazine

being well known to be associated
with pop star lady gaga, who also
would appeal to my audience, may
show that they are just reading it to
be entertained and have fun
