  • 2. My animal is the Bald Eagle. Some Eagles like to live in mountans but not all. They like to live in major lakes and all coasts. The Bald Eagle’s weight and length is 29-42 inches long and 10-14 pounds. Their back and breast is a blackish-brown, head, neck and tail is white, and their feet and beak are yellow. The Bald Eagle has up to 7,000 feathers. Their feet have scales on them.
  • 3. The Bald Eagle is a Migrate but not all eagles Migrate. They travel by flying. The Bald Eagle likes to live by major lakes and near all coasts. They soar after prey while hunting. HABITAT
  • 4. FOOD Eagles mainly eat fish. Sometimes they eat worms. Eagles are carnivores. (they eat the meat off fish)
  • 5. PROTECTION They protect themselves with their talons and sharp beaks.
  • 6. Unique or different characteristics!!! Eagles are born by eggs. They lay 1-3 eggs. Baby are called Eaglets. Eagles usually don’t lay 3 eggs. They usually lay 2. Sometimes they don’t live in packs. Eagles can fly up to 30 m.p.h. and can dive at speeds up to 100 m.p.h.
