1. Creating the Digipak and Poster
To create the front cover of the digipak I
used the software Adobe Photoshop. I
cropped images of the artist, overlapping
them and decreasing the opacity inorder for
it to blend together. I usedvarious pictures
of the female smiling and of her emotionless
and placed them to create juxtaposition. The
reason for this idea was for it to link to the
music video of her looking back at her once
stress-free, happy life whilst highlightingthe
idea of her having adysfunctional life now.

2. For the magazine poster, I initially wanted to
create another image which was not displayed
on the digipak (1st image); however, I did not
feel that it and complimented both the digipak
and music video. I then created another poster
using the same image of the front cover of the
digipak in order for it to link, but it was an
obvious choice and I felt that the image did not
work well for a poster.
In the end, I decided to choose the image on
the left as it’s a clear picture of the artist and
represents her well. I enhanced the image by
increasing the contrast which makes it eye-
catching by standing out.I made sure to include
the main elements in an album poster such as
the artists’ name, the album title, a 5 star
rating by a well-known brand, a website, and
catchy sentences to persuade the audience to
purchase the album.
