Rayanne- Our Production Company is “Brownin’ Studios”, they
work hand in hand with Metrodome distribution. Brownin studios
is an ethnic production company that allows young people (16-
25) to produce their own short films. The production company
gave us £50,000 as start-up money; We then had to fundraise
the rest of money in order to produce the film.
Tanisha- In total we fundraised £250,000. £100,000 was spent
on production, £50,000 spent on advertisement e.g. poster,
teaser trailers and urban radio ads. The rest was spent on
producing DVDs. We gave the left over money to the performing
arts fund so other young people have the chance to do what we
done.
Rayanne- Our distributing company was Metrodome. A small
British distributor, we worked with because Metrodome and
Brownin’ studios are vertical integrated.
2. Tanisha- If we had the chance we would love to work with some
of the bigger distributors in America. Such as paramount,
20th
Century fox, warner brothers. We would also love to work
with Columbia which produced thrillers that had similar
conventions to us such as silence of the lambs.
Rayanne- In our opening we made are opening credits appear one
after each other in a flash to represent that we all had an
equal weight in producing the thriller.
