2. PRODUCTION COMPANY A production company is a company responsible for physical production of new media, performing arts, film, radio or a television programme. The company may also be directly responsible for raising of funding for the production or may accomplish this through an emissary. The production company may be either a small company or a larger one, selling its products to a film studio presenting it at a theatrical venue, or, in the case of film and television, it may be the studio itself. A coproduction is a theatrical presentation or film made by more than one company or a conglomerate of multiple companies.

4. OUR COMPANY LOGO We created the production company 'JNN Productions' for our opening title sequence, JNN is all of our first name initials (Josh, Nick andNatalie). We made the background black to keep the colours neutral and we used the font 'night stalker'. We used this because it reflected the genre of the film, thriller. In our film the text moves in from the left hand side at a quick rate and after is it has stopped in the middle of the screen. The 's' on the end of productions is animated and comes forward towards the camera and then spins, then goes back to its original state.
5. WHAT IS A FILM DISTRIBUTOR? A film distributor is an independent company, a subsidiary company and often a single person, which acts as the final agent between a film production company and a film exhibitor, to the end of securing placement of the producer's film on the exhibitor's screen. In the film business, the word "distribution" refers to the marketing and circulation of movies in theaters, and for watching at home (DVD, Video-On-Demand, Download, Television). We chose West End Films as our film distributor because it is known for being the distributor for films like ours, horror/thrillers. As this is the distributor for many films like this, we thought it would work well with ours. Isle of Man film would be an example of who would fund our film.
