In what ways is the branding ‘coherent’ – why

    does it all look like it’s for the same band?

A way in which the branding is „coherent‟ is by the
gray scale effect that comes across in both the advert
and the digipack.

Also both have the same text type Serif and this also
gives the coherent appearance.

Another way in which the branding is „coherent‟ is by
the use of images. As both the advert and digipack
contain the same image.
Audience Feedback
The audience believe there is a clear “house style”
which means that throughout the package there are
visual similarities such as the gray scale and the text
used.

They also commented that the marketing is coherent
by the way the same images are used and therefore it
is easy to link both the digipack and the magazine
advert together with the artist.
Branding
When it comes to branding and marketing a product
there are the 4 important P‟s
• Price
• Place
• Promotion
• Product
With the advert and digipack there are many
similarities and this is good as the audience like
repetition with a product and it maintains brand
loyalty. Therefore the idea of keeping the font and
colour the same keeps the brand clear.
