Our audience believe that our poster represents our documentary really
well and said that they would recognise that our poster was for our
documentary.This is good as we have managed to link all of our products in
an effective, recognisable way.

•Main image makes the poster mysterious
•Dark colours are mysterious
•Simple but eye catching
•Light looking down on viewers, the fear has the power
There were lots of things that the audience liked about our poster.They
thought that we had fully researched and found out a lot about
documentary print ads and have conformed well to the codes and
conventions.

Our audience believes that the colours we used are relevant to the topic of
fear.They believe that there is good use of colour and they represent fear.
This shows we conducted research in an effective way and this has had a
positive result.

The audience said that our print advert looks real.This shows that we
have conformed to the codes and conventions and that we have took
a professional approach and was creative in order to achieve the best
possible product.
Is the main image relevant to
our documentary?

This shows that we have conducted good research and took a relevant
photograph for our background. We created a sense of fear within the
image which links to our topic.
Does our poster make you want
to watch our documentary?
yes
no
This shows that we have researched documentaries well and fully
conformed to the codes and conventions, allowing the
documentary to be interesting and appealing to our audience.
Improvements
•Make image scarier
From our audience feedback we found that there was not much the audience would
change about the print advert. We learnt that the audience felt the colours related to
the genre and it was eye catching. This shows that we though about the topic and style
of posters, the main colourful image stood out on the plain background

Does our poster clearly represent our documentary? yes no Our audience believe that our poster represents our documentary really well and said that they would recognise that our poster was for our documentary.This is good as we have managed to link all of our products in an effective, recognisable way.

What do you like about the poster? •Main image makes the poster mysterious •Dark colours are mysterious •Simple but eye catching •Light looking down on viewers, the fear has the power There were lots of things that the audience liked about our poster.They thought that we had fully researched and found out a lot about documentary print ads and have conformed well to the codes and conventions.

What is your opinion on the colours used in our poster? •Dull to represent fear •Links with fear •Good use of colour Our audience believes that the colours we used are relevant to the topic of fear.They believe that there is good use of colour and they represent fear. This shows we conducted research in an effective way and this has had a positive result.
  • 5. Does it look like a real media product? yes no The audience said that our print advert looks real.This shows that we have conformed to the codes and conventions and that we have took a professional approach and was creative in order to achieve the best possible product.
  • 6. Is the main image relevant to our documentary? yes no This shows that we have conducted good research and took a relevant photograph for our background. We created a sense of fear within the image which links to our topic.
  • 7. Does our poster make you want to watch our documentary? yes no This shows that we have researched documentaries well and fully conformed to the codes and conventions, allowing the documentary to be interesting and appealing to our audience.
  • 8. Improvements •Make image scarier From our audience feedback we found that there was not much the audience would change about the print advert. We learnt that the audience felt the colours related to the genre and it was eye catching. This shows that we though about the topic and style of posters, the main colourful image stood out on the plain background
