Fahrenheit 9/11 (Documentary)
Michael Moore is the voice of the documentary and
discusses what the causes of 9/11 could have been
whilst bringing in elements like the Iraq War and the
relationships between the Bush family and the Bin
Laden family. He criticises Bush for knowing what was
happening but still going to read to a primary school
class. After being told a 2nd
plane had hit the twin
towers, he carries on for what was timed as nearly 7
minutes, not knowing what to do. The documentary also
shows images of other’s reactions and what he does
next.

Flight 93
Peter Markle 2006
Flight 93 focuses on eight passengers. It works in
parallel with the preparation of the passengers
alongside the hijackers.
In terms of performance, as we know the real life
drama that does happen, the plane is delayed for up
to half an hour because of air traffic, making the
experience stretched out even longer.
The film ends with the plane crashing in a field after
much struggle with the hijackers and the whole
situation developing.

World Trade Center
Oliver Stone 2006
Whereas flight 93 looks at the people on the flight,
World Trade Center looks from the outside and the
aftermath.
Altogether there are four men that are police officers
who are assigned to help rescue people from the
rubble. Two of the men spend hours trapped in the
rubble themselves after becoming stuck. But it
shows the true story of how these were the last two
survivors saved from the destruction.
