Costumes/Make Up
We are thinking that the
‘cloned’ girls can wear
matching clothes, consisting
of something simple like
black leggings, long
top/dress and black shoes.
Our main performer ‘Lucy Star’
will wear 80’s style clothes,
with bright colours and
extravagant style.
Our video will portray how our artist
Lucy Star is an individual and likes to
be unique in her style. Our first shots
will be of Lucy in a charity shop
changing room, trying on different
clothes when her mum rings her,
leading onto our second location of
the ‘catwalk’ in the drama studio.
Lucy watches how the girls walk
through a cloning machine looking
exactly the same. When she thinks
its time for a change, she puts across
her own unique style and personality
on the catwalk.

Why we want to make this video...
We think by making this video it
will show how passionate
Lucy Star feels about
independence and
personality coming across. As
she is against how women
clone themselves to be
accepted in society, we
needed to find a way how to
get the message across about
how you can be yourself, and
still be accepted today.
Linking to Audience Profile.
- Her musical preferences include
women like Beth Ditto, Florence and
the Machine and Lady Gaga. All
these women have an individual
style, which comes across in their
music and they aren’t afraid to hide
it, or to shy away from the image
they have created.
-The Audience that Lucy Star is
aiming her music at are quite young
(16-24), I think this age range look at
artists and famous faces to influence
their style and the way they act. So,
Lucy Star and this type of video will
be able to show a positive message
to her audience, to let them know,
they don’t have to be a clone to get
accepted.
