this incident. Also looking at the nature of violence in the United
States. Michael portrays the access of a gun in America and how
easy it is, for example it shows how you can purchase a gun from
just being in a café.
This documentary was internationally recognised and awarded
Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, the Independent
Spirit Award for Best Documentary Feature, a special 55th
Anniversary Prize at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival and the César
Award for Best Foreign Film.
