2. How effective is the combination of your main product
and ancillary texts?

2. We wanted the music video to connect with
both the digipak and website, to do this we
had to market the brand to a suitable target
audience and this diagram helps show how
brand identity is very important.
We used music video, digipak and a
website to overall create image we desire

3. In order to create an effective digipak
and poster we did some research into
simiar products from the same sort of
genre and artists. We found the codes
and conventions used in a digipak and
website which are highlighted on our
blog. These were
Band name,band logo, single title,
track list, lyrics, record label, social
media

4. Here are the two production we did and how we
applied them to our website and digipak is
portrayed through these products. We tried to link
coulors and picture as you can see we have used
the same clothing from the digipak on the website
to add continuity

5. Also we kept some of the same conventions in the
digipak and website such as the font the bands
clothes Also on the website we used tour dates
and places to by tickets which allowed our market
to get involved with the band. However we could
make improvements but overall we were happy
with our website and digipak

6. Brand identity link are also apparent. By
including intertexuality in the video, it relates
with the audience and connects the band to
other areas such as clothing etc.
As you can see we have used Mr brightside
lyrics to comply with the video so in this
example the video says open up your eger eye
mr brightside so we corrosponded that with the
bright sun in the shot.

7. We can also see how bran identity and
intertexuality is utilized in our digipak and
website. We have used corresponding indie
clothing in our products and it adds to the
indie genre of our video. For example
james wore a polo which is lyle and scott
which is part of the killers image and indie
genre in our production .
