  • Ok, so what can we learn from this year? It was a great year for online fundraising – the best we’ve ever had! So we’re improving Although we did attract a lot of new donors this year, we kept more returning donors – this shows us that we need to focus on informing and engaging our existing networks while continuing to explore new venues for attracting new donors This also helps us to understand our largest sources of donations – this might help in creating a donor-based strategy later we can see that certain strategies were successful in raising money last year – we’ll be sure to use these again this year and maybe try to better understand why they were so effective Finally, we see that monthly newsletters weren’t effective in driving donations – but this doesn’t mean they’re not valuable, they keep our existing donors engaged and may have been useful in retaining so many donors this year
