YOUNG HEARTS, GREEN FINGERS:
STUDENTS NURTURE NATURE
I
n a heart-warming display of environ-
mental stewardship, Pollachi Shaanthi
School’s Interact Club and Inner wheel
of Pollachi, embarked on a mission to
transform the Nallatipalayam riverbed into
a lush haven of greenery on 9th September
2023. Fueled by their passion and armed
with saplings, these eco-warriors set out to
breathe new life into the fragile river eco-
system.
Against the backdrop of serene skies,
a diverse array of native trees was planted
to revitalise lush greenery. The saplings
were doled out by Nallatipalayam Pan-
chayat President Kaarthika Kumaresan,
Vice- President Karuppusamy and Pan-
chayat Union Counselor Thamarai T. Then-
narasu.
Students adopted an almost parental
role as they nurtured these saplings into
promising trees and this initiative was a
lesson in unity, an act of giving back to
nature, and a glimpse into a promising fu-
ture shaped by these young minds.
The planted trees would remain an ev-
erlasting testimony for our love and dedica-
tion in ensuring a greener, healthier and
happier world for all.
T
he 7th Tirupur Sahodaya Volleyball
Match was conducted on August 30, 2023.
Nearly 21 schools were part of the tour-
nament. The U 14 boys volleyball team from
Bharathi Vidhya Bhavan School won runner

SGNPS CHILDREN EXPLORE THE WONDERS
OF NATURE AT BOTANICAL GARDEN
B
eing with parents and trav-
elling with friends are al-
ways special. The tiny tots
of SGNPS were taken for a field
trip to the Botanical garden. They
were excited to travel in the
school van with their friends. As
soon as they reached the garden,
they started to jump, roam all
around , sing and dance in excite-
ment.
They went for a nature walk
around the garden, along with
their teachers and friends.
The kids showed their curios-
ity in knowing the names of flow-
ers and plants in the garden. They
enjoyed playing in the swing, see-
saw, slide etc., Tiny tots took a
pew on the meadows and shared
their snacks with their friends.
The pleasure on their smiles and
faces surprised their parents.
All were amazed of seeing
the tiny tots, sharing their experi-
ence to the parents in an exhila-
rating way

BOOKS
F
or our future, books are a priceless resource. In many
circumstances, it can help us solve our problems. Who
am I revealed in a book? One person’s invention of the
issues they encounter and how they resolve them becomes
an entire book. What are their success-achieving tech-
niques, too? Additionally, we have historical literature that
describes the past events in our lives.
When we read some of these texts,
such as the Bharathiyar Book and the
Thirukural Book, we are given dar-
ing ideas and practical life
advice. In the book by A.P.J.
Adbul Kalam, we find inspiration
and guidance for setting dreams
and goals. The epic poem
Mahabaratham describes a conflict between
the Pandavas and the Kauravas. The Ramayana is a tale
about the ideal way to live. Many poets compose poems
about the natural world or imaginary objects. A book can
express a wide range of emotions in a person’s life.

DEAR TEACHER,
When we started back in the fall,
We were a little timid and a little less tall.
We hugged our mommies and were greeted with a
smile. Day after day spring, winter, and fall.
We spent a lot of time learning between
those classroom walls.
We knew a few letters,
but we didn’t know them all.
And we learned our
phone numbers in case
we needed to make a call.
We learned about rhyming.
“What rhymes with ball?”
We learned the days
of the week.
And how to walk quietly down the hall.
We learned to love learning,
which is most important of all.
A big thank you to our teachers for helping us grow.

DRIVING FORCE BEHIND US
M
y favourite teacher is my class teacher. Her name is Mrs
Sarala. She teaches us Biology
. She follows easy and ef-
fective teaching strategies to teach us the subjects. I
never miss her class and attend daily. In spite of the subjects,
she teaches us good ethics and etiquette also to make us strong
by character. Maybe she will not be our teacher in next year,
however, her teachings will always be with us and shows us way
to difficult situations. Through Biology, we learn that every spe-
cies, no matter how small, plays a crucial role in maintaining
the delicate balance of our ecosystem. Same like that ,you play
a crucial role in our lives!
And here is a quote to my favourite teacher,
Dear Biology mam,
You are our mitochondria; you have the power!
You are our lysosomes who breakdown the negative thoughts in us!
You are our Nucleus who constitute the best of all!

WHAT IS SPACE-TIME FABRIC?
T
he cosmological phenomenon spread
throughout the universe is called Space-
time fabric. Spacetime itself appears to
be an emergent phenomenon, as a result of
quantum entanglement (when two particles
link together in a certain way no matter how
far apart they are in space) between particles.
Isaac Newton founded classical mechanics
and he said about this space-time fabric as that
space is distinct from the body and that time
passes uniformly without regard to whether
anything happens in the world. But many op-
positions came against space-time fabric on
Newton’s point of view and he died without
tellinganysolutionaboutthisspace-timefabric.
Later on in the nineteenth century, Einstein
discovered many unbelievable predictions and
information about the space-time fabric and he
also thought that space and time were inter-
twined in an infinite “fabric”, like an out-
stretched blanket called space-time fabric.
Space-time fabric is composed of gravitational
waves and they have never been physically de-
tected.
Many objects like stars, planets, and black-
holes make a space time curve in the universe.
It is just like a heavy person sitting in the mid-
dleof atrampoline.Moremassiveobjectsmake
a deeper curve. The Sun has a massive
mass so it makes a deeper space-time
curvature so that the planets which are
far away from the sun revolve around
it.Likethemoonalsorevolvingaround
the earth due to earth’s space-time cur-
vature. American scientist John Ar-
chibalo Wheeler said this concept in
onesentenceas“Space-timetellsmatter
how to move, matter tells space-time
how to curve”.
OnMay29,1919,anEnglishastronomerSir
Arthur Eddington performed the first experi-
mentaltestof AlbertEinstein’sGeneraltheory
of relativity
. The findings made Einstein a ce-
lebrity overnight, and precipitated the even-
tualtriumphof generalrelativityoverclassical
Newtonian physics. Usually
, we cannot see the
stars during the day because of the sun, but
during a solar eclipse we can view the stars by
usingspecialcameras.Thereasonwhywecan’t
see stars in the daytime is that the sun curves
the space time fabric so that the light is also
curved as proved by this experiment. Einstein
alsosaidthatspace-timecurvaturehastheabil-
ity to bend even light. Usually
, blackhole has a
very massive mass so that it makes a very
deeper space-time curve so that the light travel-
ling in a straight line will bend and enter into
the black hole.
Many of them say that the light will nev-
er escape from the blackhole so this is the
scientific reason behind it. The position in
space-time is called an Event. An event is rep-
resented by a set of coordinates x, y, z and t
where t, time is the fourth dimension thus the
space time is four dimensional.
Whenever the space time curvature is
more in a place there will be a slow
time duration. So, the scientists say
that the time duration inside the Black
hole is very slow because of its deeper
space-time curvature. So, I conclude
that “God would not have made the
Universe as it is unless he intended us
to understand it”.

CLEAN HOME IS
A HEALTHIER
HOME
L
ucy
, a small girl lived in a city with her
parents. She is a very lazy girl who
doesn’t even do anything on her own.
Her parents used to feed her and clean up
after her. One day her parents travelled out
of town and she had to stay alone at her
home for a couple of days. She ate her food
and left her plates and other utensils on the
table and didn’t clean them.
After a day passed by all her spoons were
used and were dirty
. She had no other option
rather cleaning them but since she
was lazy, she didn’ t bother to
clean them and ate with the dirty spoon. Fol-
lowing day her parents came and she felt
very ill so her parents took her to the doctor.
Doctor upon checking her, asked about her
health and habits, He visited her house and
found it was very stinking because of which
she became ill. Doctor advised her on good
habits which made her realise the impor-
tance of cleanliness and health.
From the day on she followed all good
habits and had a clean home and healthier
life. Looking at her, all the kids in the com-
munity followed good habits and made the
community cleaner and healthier. A clean
house makes a cleaner society which makes
a green and healthier community
