Title The Predictable
1. SCENE 1 – ROOM – NIGHT TIME
Opening Shot of Male character walking towards and
already partially open door. The room is in complete
darkness. The male character slowly enters and looks in
the bedside draw in which a gun would normally be
enclosed, the gun is gone. The female character flips on
a lamp which only lights her body and her face remains in
low light. The male character remains calm and walks
slowly over to a wine rack and pours himself a glass of
wine.
JACOB
You always did have a way of
finding things. (Jacob walks
slowly over to the other sofa
facing the Woman).
AMBER
Very true. However, hiding a
gun in a bedside draw is...
predictable.
JACOB
I presume this isn’t a social
visit?
AMBER
You would be right... (She
pulls out the gun that should
have been enclosed in the
bedside draw).
AMBER
One of our inside agents has
been killed. The killer was

clearly trained in combat and
had a clearly done this
before.
JACOB
(A smug look appears on his
face) And I presume the
company is blaming me?
AMBER
You would be correct. (She
raises the gun that should
have been enclosed in the
draw, the Gun clinks as it is
empty)
JACOB
(Pulls gun and fires)
Male leaves for the door stepping over the body of the dead
woman. Closing the door fully behind him.
