2. CANON 700D CAMERA
I will use this particular
camera for doing most of
the recording for static,
clear and stable shots
during the chorus or other
areas of the song with no
activity.
3. 8GB SD CARD
An SD card with a large amount of
storage space is vital to be able to
successfully record footage and
transfer it onto the computer to edit.
4. SD CARD READER
To be able to put the footage from the
SD card onto a computer
successfully an SD card reader is
necessary as most modern PC’s are
not compatible with an SD slot.
5. TRIPOD
I will use a Tripod in order to
guarantee smooth, level shots with
good stability. This is vital to make a
good quality video otherwise it would
be more difficult to determine the
atmosphere of the shots.
6. PHOTOGRAPHY LIGHTING
During the lip-synching parts of the
music video, the location will be in
the photography studio at school. To
make the shots and atmospheres
more detailed, I will try and use the
resources available to create extra
depth with these shots using shadow.
7. USB STICK
If I do any editing work outside of the
school environment, I will need to acquire
a USB stick to transfer footage across
multiple PC’s instead of borrowing the
same SD card.
8. GOPRO
For the shots of different activities, I am
not sure whether to go with a GoPro or
the panasonic camcorder as both can
display footage in high resolution and
they both successfully display the shots
from the actor’s perspective, I.E, looks
less staged and more personal to the
feeling of the story.
9. PANASONIC CAMCORDER HDC-SD10
For the shots of different activities, I am
not sure whether to go with a GoPro or
the panasonic camcorder as both can
display footage in high resolution and
they both successfully display the shots
from the actor’s perspective, I.E, looks
less staged and more personal to the
feeling of the story.
10. STEADY MOUNT
A steady mount will be used in order to
create smooth tracking shots without any
‘bumpiness’ or distortion in the shots.
This helps to generate a more personal
journey in the story as it makes the
viewer feel more attached to the journey.
11. ADOBE PREMIERE PRO
Adobe Premiere Pro will be the main
editing software program that I will
be using for my music video as it is
the easiest to access within school
conditions as well as I can download
it at home and it is the software
program that I am used to and
comfortable with.
12. ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS
I will also be using Adobe After Effects if
I cannot find a suitable font to use for my
music video as this program has a much
larger variety to choose from. As well as
this, I might complete all the necessary
colour correcting tasks in this program
as the colour wheels are much more
detailed and it is easier to do it
collectively instead of separately.
13. GOOGLE
I will be using Google regularly throughout
the production of my music video as I will
continually be looking for tutorials or tips on
how to improve the visual performance of
the video. As well as this, In my opinion
Google is the most reliable web browser to
use so that I can find whatever I want
quickly and efficiently.
