  • 2. 1 EXT - WALKING THROUGH THE STREETS OF CAMBRIDGE - MORNING Varied shots of him walking through Cambridge, the viewer is unsure who he is, why he's special and what's the documentary about. "What would you say about your job?" (Voice over of his response whilst we see him walking somewhere.) CUT TO: EXT - ESTABLISHING SHOT - DAY - GAMES WORKSHOP Camera is across the road, Cars and people passing the shop hidden on the main road. He walks into Games workshop revealing the documentary subject. CUT TO BLACK SCREEN: THE WHITE, BOLD TEXT TITLE OVERLAYS THE BLACK SCREEN The noise of cars and people travelling past. CUTS TO: INT. INSIDE GAMES WORKSHOP - DAY Fitting music starts as soon as it cuts to INT shot "What type of games do you play in here?" ~ Talks about the types of strategy, war table top games they play there and shortly what they are based on ~ MEDIUM SHOT - MIX BETWEEN OVER SHOULDER AND SLIGHT HIGH ANGLE SHOTS OF THE BOARD GAMES - PANNING - INT GAMES WORSHOP. GAMEBOARDS BEHIND AND BEHIND THAT ALL THE GOODS ON THE WALLS CUT TO: "So in brief, what is Warhammer? How would you describe it?" (Not heard in the edit) ~ His response ~

The battle boards in shot with the soldiers, scenery dice on. rule of thirds. CUT TO: LOW ANGLE PANNING SHOTS - THE BATTLE FIELDS Possible tilt shift highlighting the scenery. CUT TO: "What do these hobbies mean to you?" ~ His response ~ CLOSE UP - HANDHELD - SHOWING HIS EMOTIONS THROUGH BODY LANGUAGE. CUTS TO: "Do you have any other hobbies or passions?" ~ His response ~ IF SO, SHOW GAMEPLAY/THE BOX/ITEMS WHILST THEY'RE BEING TALKED ABOUT. POSSIBLE VERY QUIET GAMEPLAY SOUNDS TO GO WITH GAMEPLAY. SOUNDS ILLUSTRATING WHAT IS SAID IN THE DISTANT BACKGROUND. CUTS TO: "What different sets are there?" ~ His response ~ EXTREME MACRO - FIGURINES WHEN MENTIONED Illustrating what each figurine type is and whilst he describes a little about it. CUT TO: "And which ones are your favourite? Which ones do you play with most?"

CUTS TO: "Who are the types of people who play here? "How would you describe yourself and what's the community like?" HEAD ON INTERVIEW SHOT - MEDIUM TO CLOSE UP ~ His response ~ CUTS TO: MEDIUM/CLOSE SHOT OF OTHERS PLAYING IN STORE. Illustrating his response as well as showing some Warhammer to further peoples knowledge about it. To make sure the viewer knows as much as possible about it. CUT TO: "Growing up, what where you into? What type of things did you watch, read and do?" ~ His response ~ "Where there lots of people doing these things with you?" ~ His response ~ CUTS TO: HEAD ON INTERVEW SHOT - MEDIUM TO CLOSE UP - CUTS TO: "How has the games and the communities changed since you've been into it?"
  • 5. 4 REMIND THE VIEWER OF THE REALITY GOING ON OUTSIDE OF THE SHOP. PEOPLE WALKING PAST TO WORK, SHOP. ALMOST SHOWING IT'S A ESCAPE FROM THE DROLE EVERYDAY PRACTISES. ILLUSTRATE WHAT IS SAID. EXT PANNING SHOTS LOOKING INTO THE WINDOWS SHOWING BUSNIESS IF HE SAYS IT'S MORE POPULAR AND THE OPPOSITE IF IT'S LESS POPULAR. CUTS TO: PEOPLE LOOKING INTO THE SHOP FROM OUTSIDE. "How and at what age did you get into Warhammer, and why have to continued it?" ~ His response ~ "What to you think drawn you to these games? How did you find yourself getting into it?" CUTS BETWEEN: SLOW KEN BURNS - SHOWING ACHIEVED PHOTOS, FOOTAGE; ANYTHING WHICH ILLUSTRATES HIS ANSWERS. HEAD ON INTERVIEW FOOTAGE. FOOTAGE OF THEIR GAMEPLAY. CUTS TO: "So, what is it like working with things which you have a passion for" ~ His response ~ "Do you have family? Like a wife/partner, kids?" Head on interview shot - talking head. ~ If so, ask a bit about his family, possibly giving a more emotive response or revealing more about himself to the viewer ~

CARRYS ON WITH THE ARCHIVED FOOTAGE IF POSSIBLE - HEAD ON INTERVIEW SHOT. CLOSE UP - ANY POSSIBLE THINGS HE'S WON/BROUGHT BACK WITH HIM "Where the people playing there really competitive and passionate about it, or where they more doing it for fun? CUTS TO: SAME SHOT AS THE START - EXT- LONG ESTABLISHING SHOT OF HIM CLOSING UP THE SHOP - EVERNING " If you didn't work here and have the hobbies that you do, what do you think you'd be doing? " ~ His response ~ "What would you say to people who want to start Warhammer?" ~ His response ~ AS THE START, WHEN A BUS BLOCKS THE SHOPS SHOT FROM ACROSS THE ROAD CUT TO BLACK AND RUN CREDITS, SPECIAL THANKS.
