2. Intro screen
This is a small introduction to my
music video naming the artist and
the song, I have used this so that
when it would be broadcasted to an
audience they would remember the
name and the song. I have also used
it as the artist is relatively unknown
and therefore its introducing his
name to the audience who are
unaware of him.
3. Intro clip
This intro clip has no sound, this
introduces the artist to the
audience, for this shot I placed the
camera inside a fridge and filmed
the artist opening the fridge and
drinking a bottle of beer even
though it appears to be mid-day,
this is relative to the song lyrics
that open the song which are ‘I
drink to remember I smoke to
forget’.
4. First scene
This scene shows the artist playing
the guitar in his room wearing normal
lounge clothes, this is reflective on
how we started out as an artist, this is
also why I used to right at the
beginning of the song, it comes
parallel from the song and where he
begins his career.
5. On this scene I put an echo on my artist,
this is so it looks like there is a ghost
version of him. I chose this effect to
emphasise the fact that he has made this
walk out of his house many times with
his guitar in his hand giving the idea that
he practises/plays all the time.
6. This shot shows the artist walking down an
alley to the side of his house, this is a follow
on from the previous cut, the idea of this is
to give a thought that the artist goes out
everyday to practise in the one spot, the
alley looks very dim and dull due to the
lighting creating the feeling of the area has
grew up in and come from.
7. This is a short scene which I have cut up
into bits, this is so it looks like the artist is
jumping from different spots, I have done
this so it matches the guitar beat. This
creates a time lapse effect.
