2. Aiden are my favourite band, so I will try not to be too biased. I will admit, however, that their videos have never been anything too special to most people, due to their low budget, but they always get the point across, and perfectly represent their genre and personality. I like this video, because of it's simplicity.

3. The monochrome filming adds a sense of artistic flair to the video, which I think is what the band want to portray! (Represents ‘Noir’ films) They are all very “arty farty”; into their drawing and tattoos and vintage things, which monochrome filming definitely represents.

4. The narrative of the music video is also very interestingly simple, and I may want to think about using a similar idea. The video fades from monochrome to colour (although the colour is very desaturated, maintaining the rock/alternative conventions) as the video switches to the performance of the band, which makes the narrative seem more film like.
