To open the video I want to have a slow pull shot away form the main character who is lying back and writing
lyrics.

away form the main character who is lying back and writing lyrics. I
want this shot to be medium length.
With this opening shot I want introduce the character to our viewer
as a hard working artist who is trying to create an award wining hit.
As the lyrics start start I want to smoothly cut to other shots of the
character writing and creating the song with studio equipment and
the producer.
As the bass and main beat kicks in hard I want to have a hard cut
to the character reciting his lyrics into the microphone. Following
this hard cut I want to start technical editing technequies flowing
between shots of the artist in the studio creating and recording this
song with the producer.
Towards the end of this section the artist says“man this zoot had
me leaning off wheeze and cough” slow motion shot of smoke
rollin gout of artist mouth.
3. Mood, tone and surrounding
The mood and tone that I want to represent in the
first half of the video is that of struggle and grind.
To represent this I want to show the artist hard at
work in the studio repeating takes and writing
lyrics. I want to show how this is a working
environment for the artist and this is his career. I
only want to have the character and producer in
this sense to emphasise the fact that this is a
working environment.
I want the overall mood of this section to be of work
and grind to accomplish the artist goal.
The mood and tone that I want to show for the
second half of the music video is more of a
performance of the accomplished song, like a pay
off in a joke structured short film. I want to show the
character surrounded by is friends in a relaxed
environment preforming, vibeing and enjoying the
music, in contrast to the hard work feeling of the
previous section.
I want the general mood for this section to be more
celebratory and up lifted. I want to present the joy
of this artist enjoying his music with his boys and a
sense of accomplishment for his hard work in the
studio.
4. NarrativeLocation:
The location for this first half will be a plain professional recording studio with little decoration and
props besides the recording equipment.
The location for this will be a performance a small studio in which all the walls and celling are covered
in writing, the light is bright
Time:
For the first section I want to film during the day and make the most of the natural
light. This idea of it being filmed in the daytime further back’s up the ideas of the
artists grafted and grind as he is up and working in the studio
The time of day for the second bit will be at night time, with this obvious natural light
is not an option so I want to use the bright lights form the room, this will nicely
contrast to the natural light used I the first section.

6. Artist, CharacterOutfit :
For the first section I want the character and the producer in the room to be wearing dull Palin coloured
tracksutes, top matching bottom with no acssesorys. I want to do this to add to the dull feel of this studio room
allow the focus to be on the music.
For the second section I want the main character and his pose to be wearing bright clothes with accessory’s.
