Organizing and displaying of occupational information literature
and other materials in educational institutions is called Career Corner
A resource center cum room for students similar to a
counselor room.
The main aim is to help students to build
their careers. The other aims are:
• To provide career awareness on
various career options
• Help students to identify RIGHT
career
• Equip students with necessary
training to achieve desired careers

ACTIVITIES THAT CAN BE DONE
SCHOOL WITHOUT CAREER CORNER
• Learn about different career paths
• Set up a small corner in the classroom every once in
a while
• Display materials related to work and career using
display racks, bulletin boards, etc.
Career corner provides career and
workplace related topics and information
to the students. Therefore it is a service
provided to the students who requires
assistance for their career.
